Export Services to Canada are suspended from 7pm today due to industrial action by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers in Canada.
From 7pm this evening Royal Mail will no longer be despatching postal items to Canada and are suspending our postal export services to Canada.
Canada Post have informed us international items sent prior to the service suspension will be held by them until the end of strike action and will be delivered (first in, first out) as quickly as possible once operations resume.
We are in regular communication with Canada Post and will update with further information as and when we have further details for UK customers.
The Royal Mail International incident bulletin can also be checked for related updates.
