Canada Post have informed us that the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) have now moved from a full national strike to rotating strikes from the October 11th 2025.
The duration of the industrial action remains unknown but Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide postal services will resume from the evening of the 15th October and we will begin despatching to Canada again.
Disruption is still expected during the rotating strikes as Canada Post process any backlog on hand. We remain in regular communication with Canada Post and will provide any further updates as they become available.
Parcelforce Worldwide continue to despatch globalexpress items as normal to Canada as these are delivered by another provider and are not impacted by the industrial action by Canada Post.
